I was born and raised in the Bowen Homes project on Atlanta's westside, attending A.D. Williams Elementary.

After graduating from Frederick Douglass High School, I enlisted in the US Navy.

While in the Navy, I served in combat action during the "Desert Storm" war and was awarded a "Letter of Commendation" for my outstanding service while aboard the USS Wisconsin Battle Ship during this conflict.

After my service in the military, I returned home and attended Georgia State University, where I earned a BBA (Accounting) and and MTx (Masters of Taxation).

My professional career started as an Accountant for Southern Company, from there I worked as a Tax Accountant for Ernst & Young. After leaving Ernst & Young I became an Entrepreneur. Starting my own Real-Estate investment company as well as opening my own Bar.

After selling my Bar, I began work in the Insurance and Financial Service Industry, where I remain as an Entrepreneur (Licensed Insurance Agent) for the last 21 years. I also currently own and operate a small wine shop in the East Lake Community.

It is these last 21 years of seeing our industry reputation decay, that has brought me to this point, of offering my service to help right this "off course ship" of an insurance market here in Georgia.

My experience in government is limited to my time lobbying as a part of "South Fulton United" for cityhood for the City of South Fulton, Ga. After the city was formed I was honored to be appointed to the city's Zoning Board of Appeals, initially being elected by my peers as Vice Chairman. I have served on this board for the last 8 years. Serving the last year and a half as the Chairman for this Board.

I humbly ask for your support in helping me get elected in order to combat the spiraling cost of insurance in the State of Georgia.
